I would love to tell you that I am a Class A negotiator, and that I always pay the best possible rate for my cars and my suits.  The truth is that I know I have often paid more than necessary, and I don’t anticipate that this will ever change.  The secret is that, when it comes to telecommunications, I have been doing this for a long time.  I know where to look for wasted services. I know the right questions to ask, and I understand technology.

Could you achieve the same results that I can?  Probably. If you have the time and inclination.  Although, you might hear the same thing from a pipe fitter or your mechanic.
